When I was a young girl, I longed to be Belle from Beauty & the Beast. I never thought starting French study at age 14 would bring me 9 months in Aix-en-Provence, a French sweetie with chateau property dreams, and French language fluency. Baby steps daily do make dreams come true.

This is my exploration of motherhood: what it means to give birth, to nurture, to protect, and to teach. I do not believe that every woman needs to be a human mother as women can create so much more. The question is: what are we doing as a collective to support women in their creative endeavors, human and all?

I created this vision board in 2023 and realized that this is my life, not a bucket list of things to do. Building means laying one brick on top of another and sometimes the reward is just looking back and seeing the stack that is done; and then rewarding myself with QUEEN-worthy rest so I can do it all again tomorrow. What if my life is just continuing to do what I already love?
